Don't just feed your kids veggies. Dress them up and make them interesting - you wouldn't eat at an excellent restaurant if the food were just sliced up!

"As I grew up in a small town in upstate New York, I knew what it was like to be part of a community. In medical school I had the opportunity to do nine months of my training in a rural area near the New York/Canadian border. During those nine months I spent time with a husband and wife that were family physicians in the community, doing everything from delivering babies to attending patients in the nursing home. That was when I knew what type of physician I wanted to be.
I then finished my training and settled in Central Maine. I then began practicing medicine and raising my family. However, medicine is changing and unfortunately not always with patient centered care as the focus. Over the past 12 years of being a family physician I learned so much, mostly from my patients themselves.
Now I am implementing my dream, a different form of practicing medicine. A dream of empowering patients to know what kind of care they need and how to get it. I welcome you to join me on this journey. Technology will be an important tool as part of my new practice. Balance between work and family will be my goal. Partnering with patients to achieve excellent and effective health care will be the result. Welcome!"
